108 Excellence in Schools
The Brighton College Dubai community gathers to mark UAE National Day, one of many shared moments that strengthen belonging across the school year.
These meetings are purposeful and practical, providing a forum to discuss day-to-day matters, celebrate what is working well and address areas for development. They also model curiosity and respectful dialogue, values we want our pupils to see in action. Building a Strong Community Beyond the Classroom Our wider community is strengthened by an active and committed parent body. The Friends of Brighton College parent- teacher association is central to this, bringing families together through events that build connection and belonging. From the annual College Iftar and International Day to quiz nights, social events and padel competitions, these occasions foster a strong sense of community. Practical initiatives, such as the second-hand uniform shop, reflect a culture of kindness and mutual support that runs through the College.
Together, these connections reinforce our shared values and show pupils that the adults around them are working with kindness, consistency and care. Every child deserves to feel known, supported and confident each day. Parent voice plays an important role in shaping school life. Our three Parent Councils, representing Pre-Prep, Prep and Senior School, meet half-termly with year group leads, the Senior Leadership Team and the Head Master. Agendas are co-constructed, with parents contributing questions and feedback through year group WhatsApp groups.
Pupils explore and play together, reflecting the C beyond the classroom.
