Excellence in Schools 85

A later school start helps families begin the day calmly, allowing students to arrive settled and ready to learn Shared Ownership of Learning This sense of shared responsibility continues throughout the learning journey through our Learner Achievement Passports. These passports act as a bridge between home and school, supporting joint goal-setting, reflection, and celebration of progress. Parents are active partners in reviewing targets, understanding next steps, and reinforcing learning habits at home. Over time, this has strengthened student ownership of learning while ensuring families feel informed, empowered, and confident in how best to support their child. Supporting Families Beyond the Classroom Communication and community connection are further strengthened through our weekly parent workshops, which are carefully designed in response to family voice and emerging needs. Sessions range from supporting friendships and managing transitions, to understanding wellbeing, digital safety, and the responsible use of AI at home.
