150 EXCELLENCE IN HIGHER EDUCATION
Where Creativity Meets Technology The programme additionally introduces participants to emerging technologies and contemporary creative tools increasingly shaping the future of design education and industry. This includes introductory exposure to no-code digital platforms, user experience (UX) design approaches, rapid prototyping methods, and AI- assisted content creation tools. These technologies are presented not as replacements for creativity, but as tools that support designers in exploring ideas, communicating concepts, and developing innovative solutions more efficiently. By introducing participants to these areas early, the bootcamp helps demystify new technologies and encourages students to engage with them critically and creatively. Participants will explore how AI tools can assist in generating visuals, refining ideas, or supporting storytelling, while also understanding the importance of human creativity, judgement, and design
thinking within the process. Similarly, no- code tools and UX-focused activities provide insight into how digital experiences and applications are designed around real human needs and behaviours. Technology can support creativity, but human judgement, empathy and design thinking remain at the centre of meaningful innovation. Open To Different Creative Interests The Summer Bootcamp has been developed to support accessibility and inclusivity within design education. The activities are structured to welcome students from diverse educational backgrounds and levels of experience. Whether a participant is interested in interiors, digital media,
