Originally founded by the Greenpower Education Trust in the UK, the programme empowers young people in the UAE to design, build, and race their own electric cars in a structured and competitive environment.
Designed for students aged 9-22, Greenpower bridges classroom theory with hands-on application. Working in teams and guided by educators and mentors, participants explore engineering design, electrical systems, aerodynamics, sustainability, and race strategy. Beyond technical skills, students develop leadership, collaboration, critical thinking, and resilience - competencies essential for the future workforce. Race days bring innovation to life. Held on professional tracks, these events test not only speed, but efficiency, teamwork, and strategic execution.
