D ubai’s private school sector is booming—but for parents, that growth comes with a challenge. Across British, IB, and Indian curriculum schools, waiting lists are no longer the exception, they’re the rule. For many families, the window to secure a place for 2025 is already closing, leaving some waiting a year or more for spots in key year groups. With over 100,000 new residents arriving in Dubai last year alone and a 12% jump in private school enrolments (KHDA), demand is outpacing supply, even as new schools open and major operators expand. “If you haven’t applied yet, you’re probably too late.”
