"Here, time seemed to stretch, slow, and breathe." A Morning of Culture and Connection The next morning began with something truly special, the Ezba Tour. This unique educational farmhouse and cultural centre is designed to immerse guests in Emirati heritage. Against the backdrop of the sweeping desert, we learned about the Bedouin way of life, the origins of families across the Emirates, and how communities have thrived for centuries in this harsh yet beautiful environment.

The wildlife encounters made the experience unforgettable. I had the chance to hand‑feed a magnificent male camel, a moment that made me feel like a child again. I also witnessed gazelles mating in their natural habitat, a rare glimpse into desert wildlife behaviour. Then came the truly regal moments: meeting the royal desert dogs, both playful young pups and dignified older dogs, including the oldest resident who has been at Qasr Al Sarab since the day it opened – and walking around the stables to meet the Arabian horses, fresh from their morning exercise, their coats gleaming in the sun and their presence as majestic as the desert itself.
