Abu Dhabi Schools To Display Performance Ratings
For the first time in the UAE, ADEK has introduced School Performance Plaques at private schools across Abu Dhabi. These on-campus displays give families an instant, visible summary of each school’s official ADEK inspection results, covering key domains such as student outcomes, wellbeing, teaching quality, and leadership. Each plaque also includes the school’s National Identity Mark. In future, a third element—the Wellbeing Mark— will be added, making the plaques a comprehensive and transparent indicator of overall school quality.

A bold new language policy from ADEK will see all private and charter kindergartens in Abu Dhabi deliver at least 240 minutes of Arabic instruction per week starting from Fall 2025, rising to 300 minutes by the 2026–27 academic year.
