From a Porsche in Dubai to a Tractor in Kenya How Matthew Benjamin from KAPES Adventures turned suits into school uniforms, school uniforms into access, and access into something far bigger.

Matt once measured success in suits, skyline views and the sound of a Porsche moving through Dubai. He arrived in the city in 2012 to help run the regional office for the world’s largest custom clothing company. By 2014, he had the car, the apartment overlooking the marina, and the kind of wardrobe that looked like success from the outside. THE EARLY YEARS A Different Kind of Drive

But something was missing. That same year, a car accident in Brazil left him in hospital for a month. Five months later, he was out of the company he thought would shape his future. It did not change everything overnight, but it led to a fundamental shift.

THE MISSION Uniforms of Dignity

A school uniform can look simple. For many children, it is anything but. It can mean confidence. Belonging. A place in the classroom. For every uniform KAPES sells, a free uniform is given to a child who needs one. The first free uniforms were delivered in Kenya in 2021. By 2025, thousands more had followed in Togo. Simple idea. Real impact.
