134 Excellence in Schools

S ince opening in 2014, AJYAL International School MBZ has built a strong reputation across Abu Dhabi for one reason above all others: it takes every student seriously. Not just academically, but as a whole person. Rated “Very Good” by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK), AJYAL offers an enriched British curriculum to boys and girls aged 3 to 18, drawn from more than 20 nationalities. The school’s approach is straightforward in its ambition and deliberate in its delivery:

academic excellence, student wellbeing, personal growth, and character development are treated as equally important, not as competing priorities. Education should inspire curiosity, build confidence, and prepare young people for success far beyond the classroom

A Curriculum Designed to Challenge and Engage

The curriculum at AJYAL is broad, balanced, and carefully sequenced across every stage of learning. High academic standards sit alongside creative teaching, meaningful learning experiences, and a strong appreciation for UAE values, culture, and heritage. That commitment shows in the results.

AJYAL’s 2025 examination outcomes across iGCSE, iAS, and iA Level were particularly strong, with standout performance in STEM subjects and a high proportion of A and A* grades. Graduates are progressing to leading universities both within the UAE and internationally.
