Michael: We have developed mentoring- focused tutor time, where students talk about personal growth, confidence and identity. We also highlight positive role models among students. When young people learn from each other, healthy habits become part of the culture. Jane: Repton has a strong and diverse community. How would you describe it? Michael: We represent more than ninety nationalities. That diversity encourages openness and respect. Parents, students and alumni are actively involved. It is a community that welcomes, supports and celebrates each other. Jane: Repton has British heritage but clearly feels international in identity. Michael: Our foundation is British, but our pathways reflect the community we serve. We offer different subject and language routes to support different goals. The heritage gives depth. The international setting gives breadth.
Michael: Relationships. When staff know the children and understand who they are, students feel secure. That emotional grounding enables growth.
