UAE EMERGES AS ARAB WORLD’S MOST IMPROVED HIGHER EDUCATION SYSTEM This year, 15 UAE universities feature in the rankings, with nine improving their positions, one maintaining its place, and four dropping slightly. The University of Fujairah makes its debut in the 151–160 band. The UAE, alongside Saudi Arabia, continues to dominate the region’s academic landscape, with both countries boasting three universities in the top 10 and six in the top 20.

The new service, called Girnas Educational Advisor, was announced during the first edition of the Education Exposeries organised by KHDA, which opened on Saturday, 8 November and will provide one-on-one consultations with KHDA education experts, helping parents choose schools that match their family’s values, priorities, and practical considerations such as curriculum, location, fees, and the child’s learning needs.
